Case Study: Core Values Programme
This is a two and a half day programme for the top 250 managers which started in August 2008 and is due to finish in February 2009. This is the latest in a series of development and training programmes we have delivered for South Tyneside Council over the last 8 years. One of which won a national training award.
This programme is designed to build understanding around the core values of integrity, excellence and valuing people and increase managers competency in handling performance conversations with staff about behaviours linked to the values. It is in three parts: a half day live theatre focusing on equality and diversity delivered by a theatre company; a one day workshop to develop behaviours associated with the core values; and a one day skills development programme.
