This work follows on from our previous study into workplace learning in the North East for the Higher Education Funding Council for England. The previous study was well received by the Council and has had a significant impact on their thinking. So much so that three regional pathfinder projects are being funded to the tune of £1-2m each - these pathfinders are an extension of the 'Train to Gain' programme run by the LSC but focused on Level 4 and above. The KSA Partnership is also currently involved in pulling together the business plan for the North East's regional pathfinder project.
