14+ Vocational Learning Centre for Tourism

KSA developed thinking on the feasibility of a 14+ vocational learning centre for tourism to be located in market town in Northumberland. The innovative approach will link training and development facilities in all the major tourist centres in the area including Alnwick Gardens, Hadrian's Wall, and Woodhorn Colliery into a coordinated network of support for learners and businesses in the tourism sector.

People were so excited by the idea that a new team is to be formed and housed in one of the major tourist locations bringing together people from Centre of Vocational Excellence for Tourism, the Northumberland Strategic Partnership, the Area Tourism Partnership and Business Link.
